Job Responsibilities

• ▸ Operate a slip-sheet forklift safely and efficiently to move corrugated products, raw materials, finished goods, and pallets throughout the facility.
• ▸ Load and unload trailers and trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and without damage.
• ▸ Transport materials between production areas, storage areas, and shipping/receiving.
• ▸ Properly stage finished products for shipment and production.
• ▸ Verify product quantities, labels, and loads before moving or staging materials.
• ▸ Maintain organized storage areas and keep aisles and work areas clear.
• ▸ Safely maneuver the forklift in tight spaces and around employees, machinery, and production equipment.
• ▸ Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• ▸ Follow all company safety procedures, including forklift, pedestrian, and warehouse safety requirements.
• ▸ Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed.
• ▸ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• ▸ Follow instructions from supervisors and production personnel.
• ▸ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• ▸ Previous forklift experience required.
• ▸ Slip-sheet forklift experience strongly preferred.
• ▸ Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or corrugated environment is a plus.
• ▸ Ability to safely operate a forklift around production equipment and other employees.
• ▸ Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• ▸ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ▸ Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• ▸ Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
• ▸ Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the shift.
